A preliminary investigation revealed Bunting attempted to turn left onto Salmon Road when he collided with an eastbound box truck on Highway 78.
Ramona, CA. – 63-year-old Mark Bunting of Ramona has been identified as a victim killed in a traffic crash on State Route 78 in Ramona two weeks ago.
The incident happened at around 3:20 p.m. on July 3 on Highway 78 at Salmon Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A preliminary investigation revealed Bunting attempted to turn left onto Salmon Road when he collided with an eastbound box truck on Highway 78.
Bunting was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is ongoing.
