Redding, CA. – 38-year-old Michael Garcia was hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened Wednesday afternoon in Redding, the Redding Police Department said.
The accident took place at about 12:54 p.m. on Hartnell Avenue near Rockabye Lane.
Garcia was riding a motorcycle when he collided with a minivan driven by 33-year-old Kelly Harrison.
Paramedics responded to the scene and transported Garcia to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
Neither drugs nor alcohol appear to be a contributing factor in the accident.
Investigators closed Hartnell Avenue for hours as they worked the scene.
