A Clovis woman was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to Community Regional Medical Center

Madera, CA. – A man died and a woman was hospitalized after being struck by a car in Madera County on Wednesday morning.
The fatal collision happened around 3:40 a.m. on Avenue 12 near Road 25, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 44-year-old man was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado westbound on Avenue 12 when he struck a man and a woman.
The unidentified man was killed in the accident.
The 24-year-old Clovis woman was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to Community Regional Medical Center.
Driving under the influence is not suspected and the driver is cooperating with investigators.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
