The Kia driver was airlifted to Desert Regional Medical Center with major injuries
Oasis, CA. – One person was airlifted after being injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Friday morning in Oasis.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 10:32 a.m. in the area of State Route 86 and 81st Avenue.
A Ford Expedition, a red Kia sedan and a black Dodge Ram pick-up truck collided near the intersection in unclear circumstances. The collision caused one of the cars to overturn.
The Kia driver was airlifted to Desert Regional Medical Center with major injuries.
The driver of the Ram was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
