Bakersfield, CA. – 53-year-old Clinton James Baer, of Taft was identified as bicyclist killed in a traffic collision on Highway 33 in Bakersfield.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident was reported on State Route 33 south of Cadet Road at about 12:57 a.m. on July 15.
Baer was riding on his bicycle when for unknown reasons he was struck by a vehicle.
Baer was declared dead at the crash site.
No additional information about the incident was provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
