Gustine, CA. – A motorcyclist was seriously hurt in a traffic collision that took place Saturday afternoon in Gustine, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident took place around 1:24 p.m. on northbound Interstate 5, just south of Taglio Road.
The driver of a white Audi Q5 contacted authorities reporting that they were involved in a collision.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found the Audi in the center divider and a motorcycle involved in the collision.
The rider was taken to the hospital with major injuries.
CHP officers are investigating the collision.
