One person suffered serious injuries in the accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment
Roseville, CA. – One person was hospitalized with serious injuries following a Sunday afternoon car accident in Roseville.
At around 2:53 p.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a car accident on the eastbound 80 Freeway near Eureka Road.
Two vehicles, possibly a Nissan sedan and a Ford pickup truck were involved in the collision. The crash sent both vehicles down an embankment where the pickup truck overturned onto its roof.
One person suffered serious injuries in the accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
