San Jose, CA. – One person sustained major injuries in a multi-vehicle collision that took place Tuesday evening in San Jose, the California Highway Patrol said.
The pileup was reported around 8:26 p.m. on the southbound Interstate 280 to southbound State Route 87 connector.
A black Tesla, a black Subaru sedan, and a Toyota Celica were involved in the crash.
The San Jose Fire Department responded to the scene and blocked all traffic lanes of the connector road.
A male occupant in the Celica was hospitalized with major injuries.
All the vehicles were towed away from the crash.
CHP officers are investigating the cause of the collision.
