Police said a man was riding a bicycle westbound on E. Julian Street when he failed to stop for a red light at the intersection and slammed into the rear of a Ford pickup truck traveling south on N. 10th Street

San Jose, CA. – A bicyclist was hit and killed by two vehicles at an intersection in San Jose on Friday afternoon, according to the San Jose Police Department.
The incident took place at N. 10th Street and E. Julian Street at about 12:23 p.m. July 26.
Police said a man was riding a bicycle westbound on E. Julian Street when he failed to stop for a red light at the intersection and slammed into the rear of a Ford pickup truck traveling south on N. 10th Street.
The bicyclist fell onto the roadway and was then hit by a southbound Chevy sedan.
The bicyclist was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The drivers involved in the collision stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The incident remains under investigation.
