The Palmdale woman was involved in the collision around 2:30 a.m. on Avenue P, east of 15th Street East.
Palmdale, CA. – The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner identified the woman who died in a car crash early Saturday morning in Palmdale as Darrica Wannamaker.
The Palmdale woman was involved in the collision around 2:30 a.m. on Avenue P, east of 15th Street East.
According to police, Wannamaker was driving a 2006 Kia Spectra east on Avenue P, and at the same time, 21-year-old Adrian Lopez Garcia from Palmdale was driving a 2019 Toyota Camry in the same direction.
Authorities said for an unknown reason, the Camry collided into the Spectra.
Wannamaker was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and suffered fatal injuries.
It was unclear if Garcia was injured.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
