Concord, California – One person sustained minor injuries following a multi-vehicle accident on Thursday night in Concord, Contra Costa County, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident happened at around 9:54 p.m. on southbound Highway 242, just south of Highway 4.
Per the report, four vehicles collided for reasons still under investigation.
One person was trapped inside one of the vehicles following the collision.
At least one individual sustained minor injuries due to the crash.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the accident location.
The cars were blocking all lanes following the crash. The roadway was reopened as of 11:21 p.m.
