Oakland, CA. – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a five-vehicle crash that left one person with minor injuries on Friday night in Oakland.
The accident happened at around 9:57 p.m. on westbound 580 Freeway, just east of Highway 13.
The CHP officials confirmed five vehicles collided for reasons yet to be determined.
At least one individual was treated for minor injuries due to the collision.
Caltrans with a sweeper and absorbent was requested to clear lots of oil spills and glass debris in the roadway following the crash.
The vehicles were blocking the lanes due to the crash.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the accident location.
