Kings County, CA. – A sedan driver was seriously injured after crashing into a gas tanker early Sunday morning near Hanford in Kings County.
At around 4 a.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a collision on Highway 43 near Grangeville Boulevard.
A sedan reportedly crashed into the gas tanker, with the collision sending the tanker off the side of the road.
The sedan driver was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
A hazmat crew was called to the scene to sweep fluid and remove the tankers from the area.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
