The San Pedro man was transported to the hospital in critical condition where he died

Long Beach, CA. – A motorcyclist has died in the hospital while receiving treatment for injuries he sustained in a collision nearly four months ago in Long Beach.
The crash occurred on March 25 at about 6:57 a.m. on Pier T Avenue near the Port of Long Beach, according to Long Beach Police.
44-year-old Alejandro Salazar of San Pedro was riding a motorcycle on the roadway when he allegedly crossed multiple lanes of traffic and collided with the passenger side of the Dodge Ram truck.
The man was transported to the hospital in critical condition where he died on Wednesday, August 14.
The driver of the Dodge Ram stopped at the scene and attempted to render aid to the motorcyclist.
Additional information about the accident was not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
