Sacramento, CA. – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Monday morning in Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident was reported around 8:50 a.m. on the southbound 5 Freeway, just north of the 80 Freeway.
Authorities said a motorcycle and two cars were involved in the collision.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported the motorcyclist to UC Davis Medical Center with a broken left arm and road rash.
CHP officers did not immediately determine the cause of the crash, but an investigation is ongoing.
