A Castroville man suffered minor injuries and was transported to Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital
Hollister, CA. – A 77-year-old Los Banos man was killed in a head-on collision near Hollister in San Benito County early Sunday morning.
The fatal collision happened on Highway 156 east of Flint Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 46-year-old Castroville man was driving a car eastbound when he veered into the westbound lane and collided head-on with another car.
A 77-year-old Los Banos man died in the accident.
The Castroville man suffered minor injuries and was transported to Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
