Per the report, an eastbound white Ford work truck on Ranchero Road failed to stop at a red light and struck the passenger side of a southbound white 2001 Nissan Sentra on Mariposa Road.
Hesperia, CA. – One person was killed and another injured in a two-vehicle collision on Mariposa Road in Hesperia Monday morning.
The Hesperia Police Department received reports regarding deadly wreck at around 4:30 a.m. on Mariposa and Ranchero Roads.
Per the report, an eastbound white Ford work truck on Ranchero Road failed to stop at a red light and struck the passenger side of a southbound white 2001 Nissan Sentra on Mariposa Road.
The passenger of the Nissan was declared dead at the crash site.
The driver of the Nissan was transported by ambulance to the Hesperia Airport and subsequently airlifted to a trauma center for treatment of injuries.
The Ford driver also injured in the mishap.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
No additional details regarding the mishap were provided.
