According to a preliminary investigation, a red Yamaha motorcycle, operated by Bailey was traveling westbound on the highway when an eastbound white Jeep Cherokee, operated by Randolph Lee Belloir, 66, of Roseburg, turned left in front of the motorcycle and collided head on.

Douglas County, OR. – Thomas Lee Bailey, 38, of Idleyld Park, was identified as a rider killed in a traffic collision on Highway 138 in Douglas County Monday morning.
According to the Oregon State Police, the collision occurred at around 6:07 a.m. September 9 on State Route 138 near milepost 18.
According to a preliminary investigation, a red Yamaha motorcycle, operated by Bailey was traveling westbound on the highway when an eastbound white Jeep Cherokee, operated by Randolph Lee Belloir, 66, of Roseburg, turned left in front of the motorcycle and collided head on.
Bailey was declared deceased at the crash site.
Belloir was uninjured and cooperated with the officers.
