Auburn, CA. – A California Highway Patrol officer was hospitalized after being injured in a collision on Wednesday afternoon in Auburn.
The collision was reported around 2:24 p.m. near Nevada and Placer Streets, just north of I-80, according to the CHP.
The officer was riding a motorcycle in the area when he collided with a car.
The officer was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
