Hollywood, CA.- Three people were injured in a car accident in Hollywood on Thursday afternoon, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The incident took place in the 7600 block of West Fountain Avenue at about 4:40 p.m.
Authorities said two vehicles crashed in the area and two people had to be extricated from the wreckage.
Three people, identified as a man and woman in their 70s, and a man in his 30s, were all taken to hospital for treatment.
The man in his 30s reportedly suffered serious injuries.
No further details were released.
The accident is under investigation.
