Provost was ejected from the bike and was pronounced dead at the accident scene

Desert Hot Springs, CA. – Authorities have identified the motorcyclist who died in a collision at an intersection in Desert Hot Springs on Friday night.
The fatal motorcycle accident happened in the area of Dillon Road and Desert Crest Avenue at around 7 p.m.
22-year-old Ryan Provost was riding a motorcycle westbound on Dillon when he collided with a gray Dodge Challenger traveling eastbound on Dillon Road.
Police say the Charger was making a turn onto Desert Crest Avenue when the collision occurred.
Provost was ejected from the bike and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The driver of the Dodge Charger was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
