Goleta, CA. – An adult female was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 101 in Goleta Sunday night.
At around 9 p.m., personnel from the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the California Highway Patrol and American Medical Response were dispatched to the crash site on Highway 101, south of Mariposa Reina.
The crews arrived at the scene and located five vehicles in the area. However, the circumstances surrounding the wreck were not immediately established.
The impact caused one car to catch fire.
An adult female with moderate injuries was taken to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment.
The incident caused closure of one southbound and one northbound lane of the highway.
