The woman got out of the car and was struck by a 2020 Triumph motorcycle operated by a Simi Valley man

Simi Valley, CA. – Two people were killed in a collision that happened in Simi Valley early Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 6:30 a.m. on Highway 118 near Rocky Peak Road.
A 33-year-old woman was driving a 2020 Nissan Altima when she crashed into a guardrail on the right shoulder of the highway.
The woman got out of the car and was struck by a 2020 Triumph motorcycle operated by a 54-year-old Simi Valley man.
The woman was killed in the collision.
The rider was ejected from the bike and was pronounced dead at the scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
