According to the California Highway Patrol, Parrales was driving a 2020 Nissan Altima westbound on Highway 118 when she slammed into the guardrail on the right shoulder

Simi Valley, CA.- Brianna Parrales, 33, and Morris Proudfoot, 54, both of Simi Valley, have been identified by the Ventura County Medical Examiner's Office as the victims killed in a pair of crashes on Sunday morning in Simi Valley.
The wreck took place on Highway 118, west of Rocky Peak Road, just after 6 a.m. October 29.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Parrales was driving a 2020 Nissan Altima westbound on Highway 118 when she slammed into the guardrail on the right shoulder.
The Altima then crossed the westbound lanes and stopped in the center median.
Parrales then stepped out of the vehicle and was hit by a 2020 Triumph Thruxton traveling westbound in the left lane.
The motorcyclist was ejected from the motorcycle due to the impact of the crash.
Both Parrales and the motorcyclist, identified as Proudfoot, were killed in the crash.
At least three westbound lanes were shut down for hours following the incident.
The crash is under investigation.
