Truckee, CA. – One person was hospitalized after a car accident that happened Saturday afternoon on Interstate 80 near Truckee, the California Highway Patrol said.

A Toyota pickup truck with a camper shell was involved in the crash with a possible other vehicle under unclear circumstances.
One person suffered major injuries, including a broken nose. The patient was also arrested for an unknown traffic violation.
Authorities are investigating the collision.
