Sacramento, CA.- One person was killed in a car accident near Sacramento on Thursday morning, according to the Sacramento Metro Fire.
The crash happened on Excelsior Road near Kiefer Boulevard.
Two sedans reportedly crashed in the area and one of them rolled over while the other burst into flames.
The driver of the vehicle that caught fire died in the crash.
The other driver was treated for minor injuries.
Both directions of Excelsior Road were shut down as the scene was cleared.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
