San Diego, CA – Mary Linda A. Donato, 66, of San Diego was identified as a victim killed in a traffic collision on Kearny Villa Road in San Diego.
According to the CHP, the incident was reported at around 6:07 p.m. on November 11 on Kearny Villa Road at State Route 163.
According to a preliminary investigation, Donato was driving a Toyota SUV when she made a left turn maneuver from the State Route 163 North offramp onto northbound Kearny Villa Road and collided with a southbound Ford pickup truck.
Responding paramedics extricated the decedent from her vehicle and provided lifesaving measures while transporting her to the Sharp Memorial Hospital Emergency Department, where she was declared dead upon her arrival.
No further information regarding the wreck was provided.
An investigation is underway.

Miramar, CA.– At least one person was killed in a crash between two vehicles in Miramar on Monday night, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The crash took place on State Route 163 near Kearny Villa Road at about 6 p.m. on November 11.
Police said the vehicles crashed in the area under unclear circumstances and a pole was impacted in the incident.
One person was rushed to a hospital, where the victim died.
The southbound side of SR 164 was shut down as authorities worked to clear the scene.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
