Santa Paula, CA.- The woman who was killed in a crash that happened in Santa Paula on November 26 has been identified as Angelica Vazquez Reyes, 59, of Fillmore, according to the Ventura County Medical Examiner's Office.
The wreck happened on Highway 126 near Peck Road at about 11:15 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol said Reyes was driving a 2003 Dodge Dakota pickup west on Highway 126 when her vehicle drifted into the path of a 2014 Mercedes-Benz ML 350 SUV and the two vehicles crashed.
Both vehicles were then pushed into the guardrail in the center median.
The two drivers were taken to Ventura County Medical Center, where Reyes was pronounced deceased.
The other driver, a 40-year-old woman from Santa Paula, was hospitalized with minor injuries.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
