The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place around State Route 36, not far from the KJDX Radio Tower.
A Subaru and another car were involved in the crash.
One person sustained major injuries, including a possible broken finger.
A pregnant woman was also involved in the collision. Her family went to the scene and took the expectant mother to the hospital as a precaution.
A Lassen County sheriff's deputy was diverting traffic at Highway 395 and SR-36.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
