A passenger vehicle reportedly collided with a City of Hemet Public Works utility truck, killing a worker
Hemet, CA. – A City of Hemet Public Works employee died after being struck by a suspected DUI driver on Thursday morning in Hemet.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 6 a.m. on Acacia Avenue near Kirby Street.
A passenger vehicle reportedly collided with a City of Hemet Public Works utility truck.
The city employee was found unresponsive at the scene and was pronounced dead.
The driver who struck the employee remained at the scene and was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
