Sacramento, CA. – Four people including a 2-year-old child were hospitalized after being injured in a car accident on Friday afternoon.
At around 3:30 p.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a car accident on Elkhorn Boulevard near East Levee Road.
A pickup truck was traveling eastbound on Elkhorn Boulevard when it made a left turn and crashed into a sedan that was traveling westbound.
The drivers of the two vehicles, both male adults, were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
A 24-year-old woman and a 2-year-old boy who were passengers in the sedan were taken to the hospital for treatment.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
