Douglas County, OR – Sargis Sargsyan ,51, of Glendale (CA), was killed in a Monday late night rear-end collision on Interstate 5 in Douglas County.

Reportedly, a southbound Volvo commercial motor vehicle and trailer operated by Sargsyan left the roadway for unknown reasons and slammed into the rear end of a parked Peterbilt commercial motor vehicle and trailer, occupied by Oleksandra Kepina ,29, and Ihor Vasylevskyi (36) of Rockville (MD).
Sargsyan was declared deceased at the scene.
The occupants of the Peterbilt were reportedly uninjured.
The incident remains under investigation.
