According to the CHP, a Juvenile aged between 16 and 17 was driving in the area when they slammed into a guard shack in front of a gated community
Discovery Bay, CA. – A guard was killed and two other people were injured when a vehivle slammed into a Guard shack in Discovery Bay late Friday night, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at about 11:58 p.m. December 6, near Balfour at Bixler roads.
According to the CHP, a Juvenile aged between 16 and 17 was driving in the area when they slammed into a guard shack in front of a gated community.
A guard who was inside the shack was killed in the crash.
Another guard and the driver of the vehicle were injured.
It's unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the incident.
The CHP is investigating the accident.
