According to the report, a vehicle traveling northbound on southbound Loop 202 Red Mountain collided with an oncoming vehicle
Mesa, AZ.– One person was killed in a crash involving a suspected DUI driver in Mesa early Sunday morning, according to a report by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The crash took place on Loop 202 Red Mountain near Recker Road just after midnight.
According to the report, a vehicle traveling northbound on southbound Loop 202 Red Mountain collided with an oncoming vehicle.
One person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Two other people were taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
The southbound lanes were shut down following the collision.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
