Huynh was reportedly struck by a vehicle near the intersection for unspecified reasons

Portland, OR.- The pedestrian who was hit and killed by a vehicle in southeast Portland on Wednesday morning has been identified as Hong Huynh, 75, of Portland, according to the Portland Police Department.
The crash occurred on Southeast 109th Avenue and Southeast Division Street just before 6:45 a m. December 4.
Huynh was reportedly struck by a vehicle near the intersection for unspecified reasons.
According to police, Huynh was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver, April M. Oneal, 38, of Scappoose, remained at the scene and was cited for careless driving.
The crash is under investigation.
