Pomona, CA.- Two CHP officers were injured in a collision while responding to the scene of an earlier crash in Pomona early Sunday morning, according to the authorities.
The wreck took place on the 71 Freeway near Rio Rancho Road at about 2:50 a.m.
According to the report, two CHP officers were in a patrol vehicle heading to the site of an earlier two-vehicle crash when the patrol vehicle was hit by another car.
The officers were transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
