Karel Schelden was crossing the intersection when she was struck by a 2019 Toyota Camry.

Loma Linda, CA – The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department has identified a female pedestrian killed in a Friday evening crash at Redlands Boulevard in Loma Linda as 66-year-old Karel Schelden.
The accident happened at around 7 p.m. December 6 at the intersection of Redlands Boulevard and Richardson Street, according to the Loma Linda Fire Department.
Reportedly, Schelden was crossing the intersection when she was struck by a 2019 Toyota Camry.
Schelden was declared deceased at the scene.
The driver involved remained at crash site and cooperated with the officers.
No additional details regarding the mishap were provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
