According to the Anaheim Police Department, the crash happened at about 10:40 p.m. December 8 at Harbor Boulevard and Victor Avenue.
According to a preliminary investigation, the drivers of two BMWs were southbound on Harbor Boulevard at a high rate of speed when they collided with a northbound compact SUV on Harbor Boulevard.
Eight people were injured, including two children, but all are expected to survive.
The SUV's driver was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
An investigation is ongoing.
