Aaron Soto and Angel Loera Killed in Phoenix Car Accident near 33rd and Grand Avenues

, AZ – Aaron Soto and Angel Loera, both ages 28, has been identified as victims killed in a traffic collision near 33rd Avenue in Phoenix Tuesday morning.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, the crash happened at around 7 a.m. near of 33rd and Grand Avenues.

Soto was driving northwest on Grand Avenue with Loera riding as passenger.

Their car was traveling at a high rate of speed when it struck the back of a semi-truck who was making a left turn into 33rd Avenue from southeast Grand Avenue.

Soto and Loera were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the semi-truck was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and showed no signs of impairment.

No additional details regarding the mishap were provided.

The incident remains under investigation.
