Modesto, CA. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car on Tuesday evening in Modesto.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 6:43 p.m., on 9th Street, just south of River Road.
A 59-year-old Modesto man was hit by a car in unclear circumstances.
The man died at the accident scene.
