Bakersfield, CA. – Authorities are investigating a minor injury accident that happened Wednesday morning at an intersection in east Bakersfield.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the crash occurred just after 9 a.m. at Monterey Street and Beale Avenue.
Two vehicles collided for an unknown reason, and one of them hit a gas meter at a nearby residence.
Only minor injuries that did not require hospitalization were sustained in the crash.
No one inside the home was hurt.
Traffic flow in the area was affected following the collision.
Police are investigating the accident.
