The mishap happened just before 7 p.m. December 14 on State Route 65 and Marinette Avenue, near Exeter, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Reportedly, a Chevrolet Deluxe was traveling southbound on the highway when they collided with a Silverado.
A female passenger in the Deluxe was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the deluxe was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries.
The Silverado driver was not injured.
Drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash.
