According to police, Ricardo Arambula, 38, was in the roadway when he was hit by a truck traveling southbound on Seventh Street
Phoenix, AZ. – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in north Phoenix on Friday evening, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The crash happened at about 7 p.m. December 20, on Seventh Street and Beardsley Road.
According to police, Ricardo Arambula, 38, was in the roadway when he was hit by a truck traveling southbound on Seventh Street.
The impact pushed Arambula onto the ground and he was then hit by another southbound vehicle.
Arambula was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Both drivers stayed at the scene and the driver of the truck reportedly displayed signs of impairment.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
