Woman killed in two-vehicle collision at Hanford Armona Road and 16th Avenue in Lemoore
Lemoore, CA. – A woman was killed in a car crash that happened in Lemoore on Tuesday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident around 7:20 p.m. in the area of Hanford Armona Road and 16th Avenue.
A woman driving a 2012 Nissan Altima was backing out of a driveway when she was struck by a GMC Acadia was traveling eastbound on Hanford Armona Road.
The woman was taken to a local hospital where she later died, according to the Kings County Sheriff's Office.
The man driving the GMC was also taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
