The mishap was reported at around 5 a.m. at South Azusa Avenue off-ramp to the eastbound 210 Freeway, according to California Highway Patrol.

Azusa, CA – The police have identified 25-year-old Edmund Tseng of Azusa, as a victim injured in a deadly collision at South Azusa Avenue in Azusa Wednesday morning.
The crash occurred at 5:05 a.m. at the South Azusa Avenue off-ramp to the eastbound 210 Freeway, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Reports revealed a 2019 Ford Fusion driven by a 17-year-old boy exited from the number 2 lane onto the Azusa Avenue off-ramp, drifted to the right, struck a guardrail, then continued down an embankment into a parking lot at 229 Azusa Avenue, and crashed into the left side of a parked 2016 Porsche Cayenne.
That impact pushed the Porsche into a 2017 Dodge Charger and debris struck a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado truck.
A 57-year-old Azusa woman who was a rear-seat passenger in the Porsche was rushed to Pomona Valley Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Tseng was also hospitalized.
The Fusion driver suffered minor injuries and was treated in another hospital before he was arrested.
Alcohol and drugs were suspected to be contributing factors to the crash.
An investigation is ongoing.

The mishap was reported at around 5 a.m. at South Azusa Avenue off-ramp to the eastbound 210 Freeway, according to California Highway Patrol.
Reportedly, the accident began as a two-vehicle crash involving a Porsche SUV and a Ford on the eastbound freeway, forcing one of the vehicles to smash into a guardrail, fly off the freeway, and land in the parking lot of the McDonald's Restaurant and smashed a parked vehicle.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene and another was rushed to the hospital, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher.
