Los Angeles, CA. – Three people were hospitalized after being injured in a fiery car crash on Friday morning in Los Angeles.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the accident happened around 11 a.m. on the Angeles Forest Highway.
A Maserati sports car and a Toyota van were involved in the collision. The Maserati veered off the road after the collision and caught fire.
Three people were transported from the scene, including one person in critical condition.
Authorities are investigating the possibility that the Maserati and a Porsche were street racing prior to the violent crash.
The Porsche was stopped near the side of the road not far from the scene of the crash.
