According to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, firefighters responded to the scene and extinguished a vehicle fire that erupted after the crash.
Sacramento County, CA. – A multi-vehicle collision left several people injured, including one trapped inside a car on Florin Road near Eagles Nest Road in Sacramento County.

The firefighters also extricated a person trapped inside one of the vehicles.
At least three people were taken to a local hospital with varying extent of injuries.
Authorities are investigating the collision.
