Tulare County, CA. – One person died in a two-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday morning at an intersection in Tulare County, authorities reported.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place around 5:30 a.m. at Road 96 and Avenue 160.
The incident involved a Chevy sedan and a GMC truck.
Investigators said a man in the truck attempted to turn left onto Avenue 160 from northbound Road 96 and moved directly into the path of another man in the sedan heading south on Road 96.
The man in the sedan died in the crash.
The driver of the truck was hospitalized with moderate injuries.
Drugs and alcohol were not believed to be contributing factors.
An investigation is ongoing.
