A Chevrolet pickup truck was heading east on Shinarump Drive when it went across the centerline and collided head-on with an oncoming Hyundai SUV

Golden Valley, AZ.- One person was killed in a car accident that happened in Golden Valley early Friday morning, according to the authorities.
The incident took place near Shinarump Drive and Apache Road on Friday, April 2.
According to the report, a Chevrolet pickup truck was heading east on Shinarump Drive when it went across the centerline and collided head-on with an oncoming Hyundai SUV.
A woman was pinned inside the SUV and was pulled out by fire crews.
The woman died following the incident.
She was identified as Marian Merk, 61.
Two men riding in the pickup got out and fled the scene on foot.
One of the suspects, who was a passenger in the truck, was located shortly after and was arrested.
30-year-old Brandon James Tosh of Kingman, was booked into Mohave County Adult Detention Facility for various active warrants.
The driver, Maximiliano Chavez Jr., 29, of Kingman, was arrested on Saturday and was booked on second-degree murder charges.
The incident is under investigation.
