Chandler, AZ. – A child was among at least two people who were injured in a collision in Chandler on Thursday morning, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
The incident took place on Loop 202 Santan Freeway at Kyrene Road at about 9:30 a.m.
Multiple vehicles were involved in the collision that occurred on the eastbound side of the freeway.
A child and at least one other person were extricated from one of the vehicles.
At least two people were transported to a hospital for treatment.
No further details were released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
